TORQUE app- post me some logs :)

for those with the TORQUE app, can you all post some logs of AFRs and 0-60 times with mods posted? I hate dyno sheets, data logs are much more important a dyno to me :/ I just went out and bought a GS4 (my iphone started pissing me off lol) and i'm awaiting the shipment of the ELM327.

data log = good. Dyno is good too if you use the right one. I don't trust any cell phone app over a $3k machine.

either way... I'm gonna try torque if it let's me do it without obdII...which I doubt.

What do you mean without an obdII?

No 0-60 times, but you can see measured AFRs in this quick datalog. I posted this in the Tuning Solution thread a few weeks ago. I downshifted to 3rd at ~60mph and did a quick pull to about 6k RPM. My mods are K&N typhoon intake, 2.5" cat back exhaust, and Injected Engineering tune.

Odd that the afr was so high when you let off. Should have kept going third tops aroubd 89 I can only imagine how much harder it pulls with the tune. Thanks forvthe log

Might be one of there mileage secrets shut fuel off above a certain speed and throttle below a certain position. Like the C-Max these computer are so smart my hat off to the tuners sure they had many of sleepless nights to get where they are. One question is if it is a CAI why is the IAT higher then the ambient temp.

Its not a 'true' cai, and the heat shield isn't that great. IAT are ok when cruising but I've noticed that it gets heat saturated pretty quickly when waiting at stop lights (IIRC, it gets 20+ degrees over ambient fairly quickly... I will look at my logs again) When it got dynoed at Injected, IATs were nearly 40 over ambient.

It's a generally accepted rule that you lose/gain 1% power with every +/-10 degree (F) change in intake air temperature, respectively. If that is true, then to lose 10 hp in the 2.0 Ti-VCT due solely to heat soak, you would have to experience intake air temps 66 degrees (F) higher than ambient.

Granted, following the same rule, you would already be losing ~5hp if you were to compare 60 degree ambient temperatures to 90 degree temperatures, even if there were no heat soak.

I don't believe I've seen intake temperatures more than +20 degrees or so above ambient with the K&N Typhoon even after heat soaking a while at a stop. But, I don't experience exceptionally long stops in my day-to-day commute either.

I suddenly have the urge to collect data as well, but it will do nothing but drive me insane...
