Shift Kit for 6-Speed Automatic?

Anyone have any information regarding a shift kit for the 6-Speed automatic? Would like to get a quicker and more aggressive gear change. I am assuming that the transmission is ECU controlled and would like to possibly decrease the shift intervals. Since I installed the axle back muffler M-5230-FSH from Ford Racing, I tend to use the +/- buttons much more.... Gas mileage has decreased but he driving fun has increase considerably. Just want to have a quicker gear change when the +/- buttons are pressed. The axle back muffler sounds great, I think the sound is better than the Flowmaster as I wanted to hold the noise down. Also got the muffler for $335 with free shipping, pretty good deal. They have cat back systems for $599 (http://www.trueblueracingparts.com/). Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Tunes are becoming more widely available and that is going to be your only option for improving shifting feel at this point.

Shift Kit? Maybe you should upgrade the carb first. ;)

Carb what is that? Wait I remember now a bowel with gas you put on top of the engine and hoped it wouldn't burn your eye brows off on backfires, didn't Ford have one with variable tubes, and one I remember had eight of them on top. OOp's did I give away my age.... :o)

Now it's all done buy computer's move numbers around check or uncheck boxes a dealer could do it but to scared of liability could find a fleet maintenance shop that has the 2000.00 software, laptop, & cables become friends with lead tech and do all kinds of fun things. One shop I worked had the software for Mack trucks when a driver made us mad you could hear him crying at the end of the day " man what's wrong with this POS it will only do 50 MPH " Do I see 140 + MPH....

This actually made me laugh!

I remember installing a shift kit on the C4 Trans in my 1970 Mercury Montego. Talk about a PITA! All these little ball bearings going everywhere! LOL
