My opinion:

The look of painted letters on tires depends on the car, tire, and other modifications. Essentially, the vehicle as a whole. Done right, I LIKE it. It's something I may toy with in the future.

The letters in white color are usually often brand name. Some persons specially write these one's on demand depending on their interest. This isn't the bad thing, looks beautiful not a matter of worthy.

still a no. Can't see this working for any focus other than a rally spec'd one. They don't have the right characteristics/personality to pull this off.

Sigh. It's my favorite classic as well. Though in recent years certain Pontiac GTO's from back then have been gaining my favor as well.
