Injen SP CAI

I just installed it last night after purchasing off of the BTS. Not sure if my car hit a magical point in the wear in or if the intake made a difference however I ripped tires into second gear (Build 2 with cooper zeons). Way less throttle lag as well as very quiet. Sounds almost identicle to the resonator delete.

Awesome to hear! - CAI is on my 'to-do' list.

What mileage are you at?

I have an injen as well in my 2013 ford focus hatch se... I have about 5k on it now and like it a lot. However, when it gets hot outside i do notice a horsepower loss. Also, has not helped me much on the take off lag....I guess i need some kind of tune

I have chrome, and have you noticed how hot it gets after a drive? Definitely need to make up a heatshield. Also, use the runners, snorkel/Dam delete for significan increase in highway pulls. Also, does yours have a really high pitched air purge sound when at idle and you tap the throttle?

Yes I do notice how hot it gets when it is hot...like when it is over 90 degrees outside I notice a significant loss of power. I even tried 92 oct 89 oct and 87 oct... it does run better at 89 oct for some reason. Yes, a heat shield would correct this issue. What is the "runners, snorkel/Dam delete? I am assuming that has to be done on the on board computer? I would like to do that.. Also, yes when i am at idle and I tap the throttle it opens up to a real throaty sound.. I will take a video and link to it so you can hear it.
