SVT JRSC Question

Hey all. I Recently purchased a jackson racing supercharger kit for my SVT and will be looking to install it this weekend. Now this is my first time dealing with forced induction on a car so deal with me if this is a noob question. I purchased my SVT used and the original owner had toms tune installed in the car with a diablo sport tuner, which I have. Now I plan to run the JRSC with the stock pulley and black box it comes with at first until I feel the need to upgrade to the big boost kit. So my question is do I need to return the tune on the car to stock in order to run the black box or will it work with toms tune?

Any insight would be appreciated. Like I said I am new at this so if it is a stupid question be gentle. haha

I would NOT run the black box , they were really , really bad even back in the day and cost a lot of people engines because it didnt address any timing issues

To answer your question yes you would need to remove the custom tune to use the black box

Tom
