My yellow fog light conundrum

Got the car a couple months ago and I knew from the get go that I wanted my fog lenses to be yellow. So I began to do research and came up with a product made by Krylon called stained glass paint and Michaels, the craft store supposedly carries it. Went to my local Michaels and was told the product was no longer carried. Back to the drawing board I went. Figured I could find some model paint that would work since that was something else I had read about online. Called Tammies hobbies and according to the guy I talked to he had just what I was looking for, so off I went. Found the product and read the package and in bold letters I see Not for use on glass.... Back on line I go and the product Lamin-X keeps popping up so I figure that I wasnt going to find what I needed locally so I just went ahead and ordered the SVT Lamin-X fog light set
http://www.lamin-x.com/Ford-Focus-SV...ers-p/f111.htm
Spent over $20 bucks with shipping but I figured if I was going to do it I might as well do it right.

It arrives over 2 weeks later (they dont make it till you order) and Im instantly impressed. Its thick durable feeling and the right shape and size. I placed them on my fogs with them removed from the bumper and fully cleaned. At first they looked like crap, tiny air bubbles everywhere and kindof hazy looking but i read that will all go away. A week later they are perfect, not a single air bubble and crystal clear. My only complaint is that they werent as yellow as I wanted with the fogs on, so i ordered a set of yellow piaa bulbs and I now cant ask for them to look any better.

Before w/o lights on

after close up w/o lights on excuse the bug collection

Just lamin-x with regular old sylvania bulbs

Lamin-X with Piaa yellow bulbs

This is the usual route to go for yellow fogs, and its reversible. Good job dude!

I did the same thing and love it.

I run the yellow Lamin-X covers and Hoen Yellow bulbs and I love my setup. It's a deep yellow color that projects decently far! Not as yellow as my buddy with yellow Lamin-X & 3000K HID's but it's definitely enough for me.
Sorry for the bad quality. My buddy took the pic with his phone while on the highway lol.

I've been using Nokya yellow bulbs for two years now, since my car is already yellow, colored lens film would be pointless. On a black car yellow lenses really "pop".

The yellow light really cuts through rain and snow at night, especially since I have 65w bulbs in them.
