Side Moulding Removal

How do you remove it? Is it just taped on or are there clips too? Searched the whole section and couldn't find it. I need to remove the side moulding to apply wrap and re-install them.

I had 2000 focus which just had tape and small rods that slid through i think 3 holds along the panel. I had no clips. Just used a heat gun and worked my way down with some fine string to cut through the tape.

early cars usually had clips, laters are just stuck on. my 2001 had clips.

You can see the clips if you pull the door panel and look from the inside.

Mines an '01 and is only held on by the tape, so no clips. Just take a flathead and pry an end out and pull.

I know this is a year old, figured I'd bump it rather than make a new thread.

Re applying them, just 3m double sided auto tape? Or is there a glue I should use.

3M tape was all that was holding mine on.

The best way to loosen the adhesive tape is with WD40. Soak it down really good and it should come off much easier.
