Oh...hello beautiful!

I used to not like that kind of stripes 'til I saw this photo of yours, by the way. Now they're growing on me. I think it's the color combination and those wheels that got me.

Thank you, sir!

I decided one day, what if instead of following suit and doing a stripe or to down the whole car, what if I did fender stripes. And so with some boredom, I threw them on. Then later I realized all fender stripes actually go the opposite way, but I like them this way, gives the car uniqueness.

Not wrong at all.

My favorite Mk3 Hatchback on focusfanatics.com
So clean and balanced looking, even with the rack mounted on the roof.

Who needs fog lights with that look? Classiest looking Mk3 S model I've seen.

What a difference the right wheels make. After owning one black car I told myself never again, but if I forgot that I might copy this.

I didn't really care for Yellow Blaze or those kinda' plain looking wheels until I saw them together in this combination.

Why don't the US cars get this exhaust tip with the cutout in the valance?

Now, where have I seen that before?

Thank you, for sharing photos. It'll still be a while until I can buy the Focus I want and it's hard being patient. Looking at what others are doing with theirs makes it easier to wait, I think. On the other hand, it just occurred to me that it may be having just the opposite effect. In either case I enjoy looking at the photos.

It is making me a bit confused, though, about what color I'll buy. I had eliminated Sonic Blue from my list a while back, but seeing yours with those wheels makes me think about copying that combination. Ford replaced it with Performance Blue for 2013, but unfortunately they also eliminated it from the base SE and require the $2,600 appearance package to get it. Who knows what they'll do for 2014? Though I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a Focus SE Sedan in Ingot Silver, I've always thought that on Fords, blue and white just looks right:

AC Cobra Shelby

That, or white and blue looks good, too.

So clean and simple. (Those are STILL myfavorite wheels of all time.)

Well, maybe they only go the opposite way because everyone else got it wrong and the way you did it is how they're supposed to be. I knew I had seen that style of stripes somewhere other than this forum before, but it took me a while to remember where:

Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport picture # 32 of 52, MY 2010

They would look backwards on the Corvette going the other direction because of the side louvers, but on your car they look good going the same direction as the windshield pillars and the back edge of the hood.

Oddly enough I just sold an alternator for one. Surprising part is how cheap it was, $100. Tough to source, but cheap.

(we have a few local eclectic collectors)

Before we write it off as a faker, he does have the 2L turbo'd engine, and I kinda dig it. Even has the wheels on it.
