I have to agree, the options for the price where great. I wish I could have gotten leather, like the 2013's can, but the cloth seats are nice and alot better then the base cloth seats.

Getting a loaded SE in 2012 is also what Consumer Reports recommended because of DCT and MFT issues.
I'm ok with out the leather.... the only thing I wish was available was the "black pack". I would have been all over that.

The 2012 SE Sport cloth seats are excellent, IMO. I think it's a shame that they're now only offered in the ST.

I don't consider my 2012 SE a base car since I have close to 3k in options. I have the Sport package, winter package, & rapid spec 203A for starters. I really don't like that Ford has put the 16" alloys on the new base SE's. Why? Because when I bought the Sport package, that was the only package that you could get those wheels with. So when you saw a Focus with them, you instantly knew it had the Sport package which made them unique. To someone that knows Focuses, you can still tell them apart. The new base SE's have no driving lights and still have rear drum brakes. But geez, how would a Titanium owner feel if they put the 18" wheels standard on the base SE's?

Here is Southern Cali I see more Escapes and Fusions than Focus. I rarely see a Ti Focus and I've seen one ST (Black) on the freeway. Looked like it was newly purchased too. The dude was driving erratically in traffic I might add. The Focus that I do see are just base models either Black, Silver or white. I've only seen one with the same color as me (Performance Blue). I guess it's good because I can stand out more in a crowd of cookie cutter Focus since I have a brighter color, with 17" Black Alloy Wheels. I also De-badged the Focus & SE from the hatch so the only way to tell if I was an SE was from the all chrome headlights.

I agree..I like having stuff that sets my car apart from lower trim levels.

I really like the look of my wheels. I paid like an extra $695 if I remember correctly for the Sport package and to get those wheels. I really like the looks of them, just wish they were 17" instead of 16". I think if I went to the 17" black wheels, I would have to get the black headlights and black driving lights covers to match.

Look at the 17" wheels from the 2013 escape SE, they are very close in design to your 16's. So close in fact, the casual observer would never notice the difference. And the 13 escapes use the same 5 x 108 bolt pattern that the focus does.

I enjoy my new ti. Got the solid black leather. I couldn't stand that white inserts. Dealer seemed to like the white. I found mine in the back lot, salesman didn't even know it was there since it just arrived the day before.

Yeah I noticed those on the Escapes. I'll check into it, but got a feeling they won't work. Probably different back spacing and such.

I'm fairly certain that they work just fine.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-17-FORD-ES...4b8a68&vxp=mtr

17x7.5" 52.5 mm offset (Slightly lower offset than the 18" Ti and ST wheels)

I'm having trouble finding the exact bore size but it's not likely to be that far off.

http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums...-wheels-specs/

63.x mm bore so it should fit perfect.
