What Fords use the same engine cover

Since I don't want to spend $70 for a "new" engine cover, I thought I would go to some local salvage yards and see if I could find one. Only problem is I don't know what other vehicles with the 2.0L Duratec had the same/similar engine cover. Having more than one vehicle to look for will greatly increase my chances for success. Could anyone shed some light on this for me please?
Thanks in advance!

As for being on the Focus, only early Titanium models had them.

So no other Ford model, Escape, Fusion, etc., used a similar cover?

The Escape with 2.0 L ecoboost, or the Fusion 2.0 L at least should also possibly fit as long as the stud locations are in the same place, until some one tries it it's hard to tell.

The ST engine cover looks identical size wise to the N/A, but says ST on it so you'd probably not want it either. The only Ford to use the 2.0 L GDI engine in North America is the Focus however, therefore it's the only one guaranteed to work with the correct bolts/ studs.

My wife has an escape with the 2.0 EB and the cover is not the same as the focus cover, it looks like the ST cover w/o the ST logo on it.

The top design might be different, although my question was are the bolt/ stud locations in the same place on the engine (underneath the cover) to where it might work, if not, then no there is no cover that would fit other than the one for the Focus.

What I meant was the escape/fusion 2.0 EB cover has the holes in the same spot as the ST cover, so even if it fit the focus engine, you won't be able to access the dip stick or oil fill cap w/o removing it first.

To the OP, why not just buy the correct cover, they are only 60 bucks from partscheap.com and it even comes with the correct mounting hardware. If you buy from a dealer or elsewhere, you may have to source your own hardware and it costs more.

I can't believe this thread has gone on this long.

No other Ford uses the same engine the focus has, so no, no other model will have an engine cover that fits.

end of story.

Never mind that, I can't believe that someone who can afford a brand new car would rather spend a day digging through a junkyard than spend $70 (not $700) on the correct part.

Hey I try to spend my money wisely, and if I could get the same part at a nearby salvage yard, then why not be a smart consumer and get the thing for less? I was going to paint it and customize it anyway, but now I've found a company which may make a custom stainless cover for around the same amount as the stock OEM piece, so I'll probably go that route.
BTW, don't have to "dig" around a junk yard, you put in an online request and they pull the part for you. Pretty easy and hassle free.
