Yea u know its not carfax fault. I need to sort it out with my insurance bc it wasn't totalled. This can be taken off the carfax correct?

Carfax messages me and said to give them a letter from my insurance, I responded asking if they can contact my insurance directly. As I have asked the. To investigate this. We will see what happens.

I would be going to your insurance company and telling them to fix it. They screwed up, so they should be the ones working to fix it, not you.

Update. I got a letter from my insurance forwarded it to carfax they took it off, also for some reason carfax said two owners they fixed that as well. Everything is good finally.

We report what is sent to us from reliable sources. We currently are loading about 1 billion records a year, so any kind of manual verification is out.

We do have our customer support team which deals with problems like this.
