Obd 2 bluetooth

I bought this obd 2 bluetooth adapter from amazon I use it with my android pgone with the Torque app
I works good it tells me pretty much everything from coolant temperature to hp/tq etc acording to this I'm making 120hp & 129.7lb/tq, 17.04 1/4 mile, 0-60 in 8.8 secs, 30.1 average mpg I don't know how close I am to this but they look like legit numbers to me. What do u all think?

Looks interesting. What did it cost? Would it give you engine codes, if you had any?

I Have one as well. I bought mine off Ebay for $18 over a year ago. I used it to clear all the engine light codes on my wifes old VW.I also used the Torque app as well. If you pay for the Non-free version it allows you to actually adjust fuel trim levels and make other changes. I don't trust myself with that so I just monitor and cleared codes with mine.

No codes on the dash with a new car though so it will probably collect dust for a couple years.

I bought elm327 super mini at amazon.com. It is a little cheaper than yours. It works fine. I don't measure time or HP, but recently it helped me find and fix overheating problem. Coolant temp stayed a little higher than normal. The gauge on the dashboard stayed in the middle, but torque app showed a little high.
Its feature is equivalent to middle price range of handheld scan tools

Dont pay any attention to those numbers. You cant guage horsepower without a proper dyno. I have a similar setup, and it says my subie makes 450hp, when its probably only making about 280 at the crank.

it is a bit high. According to the manual, thermostat starts open at 180, and fully open at 207. temp has to be between them.

As for my car, it showed over 230 although the dashboard showed around 190.
