My Clock Froze, and I Think I Know Why

I was driving to get lunch today with the wife, when I noticed that I saw the "Phone disconnected." message on the screen. It turns out that my phone decided to reboot all by itself (no fault of MFT or Sync, obviously).

We got to our destination, and my wife said the clock was wrong. I look up, and in fact it is 10 minutes slow. I touch the clock to set it, and when the options screen displays, the time is correct. Odd. I close the menu, and the clock was showing the correct time; opening the menu fixed the problem.

I looked up the boot time of my phone and saw that the clock stopped updating about the time my phone had disconnected.

Can anyone else reproduce this (maybe with a battery pull from your phone)?

I thought you were going to say that time stood still. I am very disappointed in your response.

Sorry to disappoint. I'll try to provide amazing feats of magic in the future.

I was hoping for a story involving lightning and you ending up in the future or past. You're a horrible story teller. Worst. Story. Ever.

Hey, you're a fellow North Carolinian

Well, that may have happened if I could get up to 88 mph. Those North Carolina laws are a little scary... I ended up losing my license for a year for my last adventure. Remember, North Carolinians: don't do 15 over in a 55+ zone! 12 months of no driving. :'(

Interestingly enough, that is why I ended up with the Focus. Had to trade in the hot rod to keep from getting into trouble.

I don't speed. My luck I would end up back in the 80's and I'd get stuck there...

A few years ago I drove Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. I can't tell you how many times I was told by motel and convenience store clerks not to speed on the Parkway.

This exact thing just happened to me... Any resolution?

I've noticed before that my clock will randomly be a couple hours slow, even though I was only in the car for 10 minutes.

It seems to fix itself when I start the car next time.
