[QUOTE=SilverPony2001;4727967]One of the things I really like about my Focus is the windshield wipers, and how they sweep like a bus would.[QUOTE]

I would prefer to refer to them as "European" not a bus hahaha. But I love the wipe, clears and covers everything for me. Ex gf honda civic had the same style.

Yeah, most busses I've ever seen or been in had the normal small wipers, one on each windshield, not the style we have on the Focus, C-Max, and Fusion among others now.

i agree.. additionally, the gov't requires that a certain percentage of the windscreen be swept by the wiper and the 'bus' style on the focus accomplishes this.

Everything old is new again. Our '69 Cutlass had opposite-facing wipers, too, if I remember correctly.

Hi Fanatics!

The best place to post any suggestions about features you'd like to see on future vehicles is the "Your Ideas" section of http://social.ford.com. Share the link to your idea so your friends and family can vote on it. We review these ideas daily.

I added my idea to be able to program out the courtesy wipe. How long does it take to approve and make public so people can vote on it?

I too think the wipers are cool. I replaced my blades with Motorcraft OEM 2802 drivers, 2803 passenger. Why use anything else?

I am afraid your not. I had a 69 Cutlass S. The wipers were standard style.

Or did you mean to write, '96?
