VIR In MY Titanium Focus

So I am going to put the Focus on the track for Memorial Day weekend with my Cobra Club. I have tracked but never in a front wheel drive. Anything I should be aware of for you track guys? Here is the Link to my clubs event.

Hi, I raced there just this weekend in my Scca prepped ITA focus Racercar, if you have never run there make sure u have an instructor, prefer someone with fwd experience. The line is just a little different for us than a rwd. Let me know. Just pm me.

I have ran VIR for the past 3 years in my 93 Cobra. This is the first time I will run in a FWD car. Just wondering what to be aware of. I thought my Focus would be a nice change. Needless to say it will be a great time either way. Plus a good learning experience. Thanks

If you are a track rat especially at vir you will be fine. Stock pads will suffer if youmreallynpush, and be aware of tire pressure depending on the tires. Race tires for us we start higher in the rear than the front but the goal is to come off track balanced. We also have much higher spring rates than the stock vehicle. Just be aware of tire wear and pressure, and pad wear if you do extended time on the track, enjoy.
