Plus the engine computer, and the manual transmission if you had the DCT, plus everything else you'd need to pull off just the powertrain and chassis upgrades excluding the body work, pretty soon you may as well take the loss and buy the ST to begin with.

The MMT6 is around 3k if you can find one, plus the beefed up twin disk clutch pack, et al.

Powertrain alone will add up to close to if not over 11k before taxes at list price from Ford Racing and Ford parts, if you can get 14-15k for a used focus in trade you'd be about 11-15k down depending on options here in the states, therefore it's almost like they don't want you to do it by pricing themselves out of that market for conversions.

The 2.0L Ecoboost crate engine is probably more meant for custom projects than anything else though.

yeah ford has had that there for a while now, too pricey for everything youd need. would love to see someone throw that in a kit car of some sort though!
