ST parts on an SE

Well I spent a few hours at the Ford of Port Richey grand opening. Checked out my idea of st rear parts onto an SE sedan. It WILL work. The very lower part of the rear bumper cover is a separate part--reflectors are same part number and black inserts are different. The curves and mounts are all in the same places on each. The muffler has a part number for the last section and parts guy says it comes with chrome part. The mounts are in the same place as on an SE AND the inlet is the same. The SAD part---The $$$$. Way too expensive to do-unless ones car was damaged in the rear OR win the lottery. Way over 500 bucks. Thought someone might of had same idea as me.

Also side pieces under doors will fit. Didn't get a price for those--was shocked from other prices.

St lower rear bumper piece won't fit a sedan. The sedan is longer from the rear wheels back. The st rear bumper reflectors are not the same as sedan or hatch. The side skirts will fit. The front bumper will fit with bracket and other changes. The exhaust would need to be cut and lengthened for a sedan.

Um unless you've actually tried it the rear valance is said to only fit the hatchback and not the sedan, the rear bumper covers are different between the sedan and hatch and therefore the valance should not fit.

This has been discussed ad nasueum, it looks close because the base lower valance is the same design between the hatch and the sedan, but the sedan has a longer bumper cover due to having 6.9" more sheet metal on the rear fenders aft of the rear wheels.

The reflectors are 100% different, doesn't matter if ford only listed the same base number, the actual parts are different. I have a set of them sitting in my apartment and another one on my ST.

Getting the reflectors from europe was much more affordable than buying them at the dealer, the valance and grilles were not expensive from Village ford, only ~around $230 but that only fits the hatchback.
