I would like to get a set of these once I get my tune. How long is he going to be selling them for?

I have about 7200 miles on my 15 month old focus and I barely open my hood. I was hesitant to get these at first but there was a group buy and I immediately jumped on the opportunity. So glad I did because these are awesome. Love them.

Now to the Pics!

And yes I know my engine bay is dirty.

The Kit comes with the 2 hood struts, mounting hardware, and Color easy to read directions. Well worth the $$$ Very happy I made this purchase.
Stuff like this drives me crazy. Struts are something that should come standard on all makes and models, not a pricey aftermarket add-on. Still...the struts do look great compared to that ugly prop rod.

What type of replacement plan is there on these struts? Having replaced my fair share of hood and hatch struts in my day, I'd hate to shell out $90 twice! These things don't seem to last for more than 10 years. If these are designed to last longer, is there a warranty?

I guess that's a lot of hypotheticals given I likely won't own the car 10 years from now, but you get my point.

Well there was a group buy on these a month or so ago. This pictured set was less then $90 shipped.

Also I have had a set of Redline Tuning hood struts on my Contour for close to 10 year now, still work just fine.

Correct, thats a T-bucket frame, gonna be a rat rod eventually. My dad is deciding on either the 351 or the Boss 302 he has for it, the Boss needs a total rebuild tho. And in another pic you can see a 302 block he used for a mock up motor for the other T-Bucket he has. Which has a 289, comp cam, tunnel ram intake with a C6.

I bought these for my ST when they had the group buy on the focusst forums. Bought the elites. I have had them on several cars...very nice touch that usually goes unnoticed unless some other focus owner opens your hood.

Sent from my SCH-I605 using FF Mobile
