Double din DVD in SVT?

Crutchfield says that they won't fit but is it possible to put a double din DVD head unit in an 03 svt? If you have hook me up with pics and the mounting hardware you used.

Most double din HUs fit, some require a little trimming around the opening but nothing major.

So all double dins are the same regardless of being DVD or not. Gotcha.

yes the DIN is a size measurement, not the features of the headunit. There are single din flip out dvd units, and there are non dvd double din units.

all of the major brands will fit with that kit. if you're are gonna do a chinese knockoff or something like that then you will have other issues as they are bigger than the standard ddin's. not to mention they aren't as reliable.
