Some folks like the look and on some vehicles, it keeps it quieter with the moonroof open. I have one on my Odyssey..really like the noise reduction.

2013 Ingot Silver Focus SE HB manual, 201a, winter pkg, moonroof. Snorkel delete/K&N drop-in and a bunch of little stuff. Great sticker placement.

I only tilt my moonroof. Works best with the right rear cracked open.
Agree on the problem with buffeting with one window open.
Can be better if stuff in truck area of hatch. Or TWO (one front opposite side rear) open.
Moonroof open also solves the one window open rumble.

The first time I opened the rear at speed i was shocked at the noise. WOW.
(the hatch trunk was empty.)

On the freeway I never have any windows open. (drag, and loss of mpg. Better to just use the air)
