If they do fail then I hope anyone else that decides to do this reads your post and chooses a different set of strips.

I'm just hoping that I could provide an alternative that doesn't break the bank, looks great and allows people on here who don't have a lot of mechanical skills to take on an easy project.

Also, the 3m sticky side is actually pretty sticky. I will worry about them burning out (thanks to your heads up) before falling off. For all I know they could do both...

Look IF they fail he didnt spend that much. Also the 3m double sided, if surface was preped correctly, can last a long time. Screw the negativity man I think they look great! Even more so if you factor in the cost and time spent!

I was simply speaking about my own experiences from these sort of products. Personally I enjoy modding my car and I am always working with a small budget.

My biggest frustration is the time wasted because they start to fail almost immediately.

Just trying pass on this great wisdom to others in the community. I have spoken.
