Easy , a return fuel system you would run a wire to a relay from the switch, the relay would have a HEAVY gauge wire from the Batt to the relay then to the pump and a HEAVY ground wire to the pump

Then you would trick the fuel rail psi regulator to read 45psi , I will go into that another time because I dont tell everything on here and it doesnt seem others have caught on to this yet , makes a tuners life easier and safer on the engine for sure

so does that mean the relay is switching on the power side? I'm just trying to figure out what you meant. I know how they work, I just want to make sure I understood you correctly. Maybe I'm just not thinking straight right now.

switched power to the relay coil, and to ground. Heavy gauge wire (on a fused circuit) from the battery to the switched side of the relay. The other side of the relay goes to the pump positive, and the pump ground is a heavy gauge wire just straight to ground?

The power is switched, but the ecu controlled the ground.

on the stock system. Right. but are we trying to switch power or ground on the pump? not sure why we need heavy ground wiring.

This isnt to use the stock pump driver or the ECU once you go to a large wire , relay and return fuel system
