Just out of curiosity would a lean tune effect the compressor side the turbo, or both sides. I definitely didn’t see any indication of blue smoke on the dyno.

If you were tuned with the Predator then your knock sensor isnt set correctly or is turned off hugh mistake

If the egt get high enough yes it can cause issues to both sides

I would never tuned a turbocharged Focus above 10.8 air fuel to me 11.3 is lean , there is no HP loss between 10.8 and 11.0 so 10.8 is much safer and as you run the engine harder your AF goes up slightly so if your say 11.2 and yu go to 11.3 or 11.4 ??????? but thats me

I tune the car on 93 but at the track I mix in atleast 5 gallaons of 110 leaded.I always did that with the SC set up I had on the old motor but this is obviouslly running alot more power and boost.

I'm not posative of the exact A/F my fist set of dyno charts didnt have on them and I didn't get new ones this time.

I know this is probably a long shot but when the charge pipe came off the intercooler is it possible it released pressure on the housing that helped seals
