figured i would do an update.

engine is out and machined. crank is installed. waiting on the rest of the rod bearings to install the piston/rods.

got the head tore down today. installing new crower springs/retainers and valve seals.

redid the intercooler. new intercooler i'll be offering will be 31x7x3 bar and plate with 3" in/out

no. its cheaper to just buy a ported head than have a machine shop do that. i dont see the head holding him back. not in the budget for him to do a ported head now.

there really isnt much point to porting the head unless you are restricted to a certain amount of boost like with a supercharger or if you are N/A and want more power. in my case there really is no point because i can just tack on another psi or two of boost and make up the power difference that i would have gained from a P&P head. its been a really long road getting here but i think its been worth it
