the best way to park is to keep going until you feel the car hit something (a curb, a pole, a small child) then throw it in park

Once a week at church someone hits someone else's bumper backing in and at work everyone pulls up to the curb. I just pull up until I feel about right, and leave it. Short car so it doesn't stick out.
