Do you have the latest firmware on the X3? If not, that could be the problem.

It works fine on 2 older vehicles but not on the Focus.
Will this model be supported eventually or will I have to upgrade to a newer one?
You will need at minimum an XP serialized unit. Our older devices (X2, X3) are unable to support the new Focus.

Older x3 as in ? How will you be able to tell if you have an older x3 that wont support the MK3 ?

Tom
The post right above yours has the answer. Old old X3 units with an "X3" serial number will not work. New units with an "XP" serial number will work as long as they have the latest firmware installed.

Will we be able to disable the rear O2 to avoid an MIL light with a header?
