P1246 and P1518 Code on SVT

Hey Guys, this is my first post on FF, but I've been a regular guest since I got my 2003 Focus SVT.

I know this problem has been answered and commented on befor plenty of times but I had a hard time figure out a solution to fix it.

So I got these 2 codes on my code scanner.
Some symptoms I have:
-Loss of power, really feel it in low end
-Studdering while at idle. It stalled on me once.

Those are 2 symptoms I notice.

P1246 says:
Alternator Load Input Fail

P1518:
IMRC Stuck Open

This started a week after I installed a new CFM throttle body and K&N Typhoon SRI.

Best Way to Solve these problems?

Also, there's no Battery light on, just the Check Engine Light.

And on the way to work just now, the studdering at idle is gone.

Check alternator pigtail there is a kit to fix this issue with beefier wiring.

what you need is this
Ford Part: 1U2Z-14S411-TA
Motorcraft Part: WPT-118

Info on alternator clip fix http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104396

If you still have an issue than you may need a new alternator.

and the 2nd code means your IMRC has failed first I would buy the billet DSI lever from CFM since you will be in that area and the stock plastic lever is know to snap off and then you can either try fixing your current IMRC or buy a new one.

Thanks Qweesy! Appreciate it.
I'm gonna hit up the Advanced Auto during lunch to get those pieces. Do you know if they will have the CFM billet DSI Lever there?

You would have to order that clip from the CFM web site. Here's the link.
