I just plan on adding pwr windows and pwr locks. So i have all the internals of the door and i thought that all i needed now was the gem and door inserts. so how far off am i??
You will need everything I said above... Ford had a variation of the interior harness for every option combination. So if you car only had power locks, you will still need new everything from a car that had all the options you want.

If your car has power nothing, you will for sure need everything. No cars were "pre-wired". They are wired for only the options they came with from the factory, therefore if you have no power, and want to add power windows and locks, you will need absolutely everything I listed above from a focus that had the options you want.
