Air Speed Control Issue

Hey Guys! My 2008 Focus hit 136,000 yesterday! With that being said for the last 70,000 miles my air speed control has been a off. For example, 1 (works, at correct speed), 2 (works, at correct speed), 3(works, but runs at the same speed as 2), 4 (works, at correct speed, full blast). I dealt with it last summer, and over the "winter months it did not matter" but as summer re-approaches this year (here in Arizona), I think I am ready to figure out what's going on lol.. Thanks for any input!

Sounds like the blower motor control module? Probly like $20. My moms bmw did the samething for a while and it actually had a mind of its own and would just go through the blow speeds on its own haha.

I'd take apart the dash and remove the hvac to see if it's still connected properly. I had a similar issue and mine was off its track.

Do a search on "blower motor resistor". That is usually the culprit for blower motor control issues.
