I've got 20,000 miles on mine. Best vehicle I've ever owned.

The MFT is a constant (daily)source of frustration but light years ahead of the Porsche PCM and Mercedes COMAND systems.

The Escape is an absolute joy to drive . . . solid. I've never been an SUV sort of a person but the Porsche was tough to explain on job sites and the F-150 was costing $70 a day in fuel . . . and both the Focus's were a tad short on room.

I've had 4 new Fords since 2010 and I'm thrilled with the current state of the products. . . for the most part.

My parents had trouble with there's but I never. They are impatient about waiting for the prompts. They talk before the system is ready, it misses have of what they say and wants to confirm, they fly off the handle either yelling at it or click the voice prompt button till it freezes then complain that it doesn't work. Never happens with me. Oh and to the guy that wanted a 6 in here the old six doesn't hold a candle to the ecoboost 4.

^^ I think he's saying that it isn't difficult for Ford to put a manual in, which of course the European Kuga has plenty of.

As much as it would be cool to see a manual in the Escape, it just wouldn't sell well enough to justify it here. I'd guess the take rate would be lower than than of the stick Fusion, which can only be had through a customer order. Even finding an older stick Escape is difficult, and they always had few options, the weakest engine, and FWD. The early ones had the Zetec and MTX-75, I can't imagine how doggy those were...

I like the new Escape. My girlfriend just bought a 2013 Escape Titanium with all the bells and whistles (gray color). It's a really nice ride. The steering wheel is the same as my 2013 Titanium Focus, along with climate control, and other dash items. They look way better now.

Pics! I have a TB Escape titanium in the family. Very nice to drive, I wish my focus had the same amenities and power.
