oh well i am moving slow and havent posted pics yet cuz my phones acting up. plus i just blew 500 bucks getting ready for turkey season so the contour hasnt got much attention except started up and drove around the parking lot at work . you can spy my turbo sitting on the valve cover in the second shot. for some reaon i cant get the up close shot of the motor and turbo to upload the exact way i did the other 2 tried like 5 times. could be because my pohone went in the toilet like a week after i got it. oops! i do have the flat caps for the wheels but i gotta get diffrent lugnuts for them to fit. bonus points to anyone who can name the car to the left of the contour

3" exhaust with a SPA will only be possible without A/C. Guess you are still thinking about the focus manifold.

ya i got a focus manifold gonna see how it works out. not completly set on it but it was 20 bucks at pull a part so if i do end up using a spa im not out much.for now what i did was just ran a 3 inch from the flex back with an adapter from stock to 3 so i can keep stock exhaust from manifold to flex for echeck. and if i do have to sacrifice my a/c no big deal my daily never had a/c and i survive

should have exhaust all wrapped up today so next hurdle to figure out is going to be fuel system.i have the walbro 190 and 39# injectors already so im left with pressure regulator. on contour.org i found 2 options. the aeromotive which is a direct fit for $130 at summitracing or a b&m commandflo which is not a direct fit and needs some modifying for around 50 at summit. but i cant find any pics or write up for using the commandflo. possibly leaning towards commandflo since i know its been done and that way i can make a write up so it is documented how it can be used. although the aeromotive has a port for fuel pressure gauge and vacuum refrence and the b&m does not. opinions please from anyone following

since i havent had a lot to post a little background on the car. an older couple who were returning customers at our shop bought it lightly used with low miles around 99. after driving the car for a few years during which they maintained it excellent, the car was rearended and totaled in 2003 . the car was too nice and the damage was too little so my boss purchased the car and it sat at the shop. from there the car sat until a little over a year ago when i bought it. i awoke it from its coma and have been going through all the bugs here and there since. cars nearing completion now and runs and drives great. the car will be going for its inspection soon and i wont be getting too crazy over the summer just mainly parts buying. this winter its on. by spring time next year it WILL be on the street and boosting

well kinda blows that its gonna be adding extra cost to the build but ive come to the conclusion im gonna have to use the SPA manifold and an external wastegate. with getting the turbo clocked to the way i need it theres no way ill be able to use stock gate
