sooo it turns out that if you have your shipping address different from your billing address people tend to wig out. got a call from AGP turbo today to play 20 questions so they could confirm that i really want to ship it to alabama rather than NC. they say it will ship out this next monday.

the turbo i finally settled on and bought is the AGP/Borg warner s200sx rs56 .63A/R. this is basically the un-ported version of the S256 and is about half the price and will easily make the same power with only slightly slower spool. i was told maybe 100-300rpm difference in spool time depending on the car and kit. also the biggest part of the price difference is because the s256 is made overseas and is shipped to the US. the s200sx is made in asheville NC just a stones throw up the road from me! oh yeah and they use them in some john deer products too lol.

anyhow i just wanted to give an update since i have been all over the place so much about what turbo i want to run. ive finally made up my mind! i think im going to like this one pretty good. ive been watching alot of youtube vids of how quick they spool. most vids i watched were srt-4s but they all gave about the same result. 20-25psi, give it the beans at 3000rpm full boost by 3500rpm. insanely quick spooling turbo and its good for over 500whp. of course if i decide i want to shoot for more than my current power goal of 450 ill have to upgrade the turbo but hey. in for a penny in for a pound.

glad u made a decision. turns out for me I had a NASTY oil leak from the oil pressure gage fitting from the head, was leaving pools of oil wherever I drove. also got both wheel bearings replaced inner and outer tie rods and my rear end is a 100 percent cambered now for a proper alignment, 800 bux later sadly

i know im still gonna have lots of work to do to mine once i get it back but the first step is to take the plunge for the turbo build. after that you can start working through the rest of the stuff like normal.

i know my ball joints are shot, control arm bushings are shot, front shocks are shot, axles probably need replacing. i could probably go on but i wont because it kind of depresses me to think about all the work i still need to do to it after i get it back

hope to have the turbo soon

here is the manifold. it allows use of stock pcv, stock fans, 3" dp with ac and power steering, stock water outlet, access to the wg, and a 35r will fit with out mod. it is by no means equal length but neither is an sti's. the final design may be a little different. im going to try to straighten out runner number 2 to match number 1
