MK3 Shocks

I am getting ready to order a lowering kit for my car and wanted to know if there are better shocks availible before I invest in coils later this year... Just trying to figure out proper ride height.

I think both Koni & Blistein make shocks that fit the Focus. Eibach also has a kit with springs, I believe.

If you're going to buy a coilover kit later why spend the money on new shocks?

I've got Sportlines on my Ti with handling kit. The shocks are pretty inexpensive, so I've read. The ride is great and I haven't had issues.

Moved to ”Wheels, Tires, Brakes & Suspension”

You should find a better response to your question here.

Thanks.

The various set ups specifically for the MK3 include the Eibach pro kit, sport line kit, some Steeda springs, Ford Racing springs, etc.

As to struts that fit, there are some Bilstein models, but they aren't available readily in the U.S.

Has anyone else in here tried out the vmaxx coilover kit. Last I read there was only one member who had installed them. Heard good things though...especially affordable.

There are a bunch who are. Head over to Sonic's lounge, INTRODUCE yourself, and ask.
