PrideSax: I'm sure you already know this, but just in case: You know there is a telescoping steering wheel, right?

Yes I know, I have adjusted it but I still can't find a great spot.

So, I feel dumb now. I didn't realize the wheel moved in and out; I thought it only moved up and down. Problem solved.

I enjoy driving the car. It's very fun to drive. If I had those extra two inches, which I'm getting tomorrow, the car would be perfect. Tomorrow, I will have a perfect car.

Is it like this in Europe? Aren't Europeans bigger than Americans as a rule? I'm curious to know how those people fit in their Ford Ka's.

Realize this is an older thread but just bought a '13 hatch. I was fine during the test drive but as I am 6'5" & all legs -- would like a bit more room to be away from the dash. I found this forum/thread to find any info. and additionally I ran across a place that makes seat track extensions (link below). The new Focus isn't listed but it seems if enough interest is expressed by using their Shop page -- maybe they will make something in the future.

http://extendmyseat.com/

Also looks like on their page for cars not listed that they can test /engineer. They are in CA so being is Wisconsin is a no go for me. For now I will drive as is -- really like my car!

This is a great idea but not a big selection. Focus is good at 6'2" but I could use some leg and especially head room in my 90 Iroc Camaro
