Too bad the SVT dead pedal is so expensive. They want $62 for it.

So I finally got my dead pedal (actually, all my pedals!) installed. I decided to go a slightly different route than some, and bought some velcro to replace the tape on the dead pedal. It's industrial strength Velcro brand velcro and does the trick. One 2x4" piece cut up covered the whole outer edge of the dead pedal.

Here are the pedals installed.

I almost left the white protective plastic on the dead pedal because of this:

Yes, that says Mondeo with an Ecoboost logo underneath it (sorry for the crappy cell phone pics). Not a very big fan of that. I'm going to have to find some way to cover that up or something...

Haven't taken the car for a drive yet with the new pedals, but sitting in my garage and playing with them they feel very good.

You have the wrong dead pedal. They sent me that same one which is too big. I messaged them on ebay and they sent me the correct one for free. I can pull up a pic.

You know, you are right... mine looks different than the ones other people have posted. Now the question is... do I email them and get a smaller one or do I keep this one because it's a bit "oversized" to help protect the carpet.

These are FORD pedal covers, I have a set they are a PERFECT fit, have the Ford oval right on them. Took all of 5 min to install.

Manual

Dead Pedal

And before anyone asks about the Gas Pedal, I have had zero problems with slippage with wet or snow covered shoes.
Hi SkyPilot - I ordered the same set after your post (the manual set). How long did it take to ship to you? I understand it's coming from China, guessing 3-4 weeks?

I bought from the link SkyPilot listed as well and it only took between 1 and 1.5 weeks to get to NY.
