Question wire up SVTF mirrors

Okay, in about 2 weeks or so I'll be stumbling upon some SVTF mirrors to help me upgrade my zx3 that I'm trying to convert.

My question is: I have manual mirrors now and the SVTF mirrors are power and heated.

How do I wire up these mirrors so they can function as normal SVTF mirrors?

What about the interior piece, where the mirror controls are; can I get that door panel insert that houses the power mirror switch and put it in the place of my non- powered door panel?

I need to know if this is an easy upgrde, if not I'll just not bother hooking them up if it's going to be a hassle and just have them as non-functioning mirrors.

Hmm, sounds like it could be a hassle...

I don't see why you couldn't get the "powered" sail panels, then you'd have to run a wire from some power source to get them powered and splice some wire from your rear window defrost to hook up the heated function.

That might do it, but I don't know if anyone's tried before.

It should just be a matter of getting the parts you need. FYI, they aren't SVT-specific....my ZX-5 has power and heated mirrors, as did all ZX-5 sold in Canada in 2004 (and possibly other years).
