Hail Damage...

Anyone know if there is a manufacturer that makes a carbon roof for MK1 Focus Hatch?

Golf ball size hail killed my hood and roof so I may look into carbon replacements...

No, that will have to be custom made and will be very expensive.

Well the one main problem is that the roof is not a bolt on part; hoods, rear hatch, fenders, bumpers ect are all much more doable.

was this you, trying to protect your car?

Joking aside, hail is terrible and hope you can get your car fixed the way you want it. Heard you guys got hit pretty hard with the stuff. I saw some pictures where the hail was larger than golf balls too.

Well, I guess you could always do this. http://www.slidingragtops.com/

There's a couple members here that have these, covers almost the entire roof and looks sweet. If I lived in California or something, I'd consider it. But not sure how it'd hold up in another hailstorm.

You could prob get some comp to make u a cf roof overlay or cover. We had these for the genesis coupe, it was glued on and 3m'ed though but who ever did it still has them. Under $500ish i believe

Hell No that was not me! The hail was golf ball sized! Sounded like I was being attacked by baseball bats!

I'm going to talk to insurance today to see what they say.
