that was just a couple hours.. i got a mix of stuff i sprayed on it.. peroxide, vinegar, salt, and water

So is it a fabric glued to the hood? It's a cool idea, makes me wonder what else could be done using the same idea.

no lol i layed it on the hood sprayed black paint over it and took the fabric off

Hot-rodders use the same technique using cheese cloth to simulate wood grain. Very nice idea but if you didn't use primer under the black paint (which you didn't), it will rust over in a year. Now paint that front bumper and windshield wiper arms!!

the black paint is black primer and i dont expect it to last more than a year anyways.. new bumpers are comming hopefully later this year
