Interesting. Maybe I just didn't notice the branding (or they didn't brand it for whatever reason). I agree that it doesn't really resemble yours. It would make sense, since there are a lot of other Steeda branded items on the car (shift knob, seat belt cushions, emblem overlays). I'm going to remove the intake and check the butterfly plate as soon as I get a chance. I'm now very curious to know if it's really a FC throttle body.

It will have the stamp on top of the butterfly plate once you remove the air intake. If it doesn't have that stamp then it more than likely isn't a Focus Central TB. I am more convinced that it's the Steeda brand TB than anything. They did sell them in black, blue and red before. But now I think they are only black or blue.

Good eyes, zetecDon. I replaced the passenger mount today, and while I had the hood up, I took a closer look at the driver mount and the throttle body. The etched Steeda logo was difficult to see at first on the mount, but it's definitely there, while the throttle body doesn't have a logo on the butterfly plate, so I'll conclude that it also came from Steeda, just as you said.

Given that the UDP kit on Steeda's website has Focus Central stamped on the crank pulley, I think the previous owner likely purchased it from Steeda as well.

So do you only have one poly mount?

Interesting.

I'm pretty sure the dogbone is OEM with poly inserts (also from Steeda), but the inserts look worn out, and are starting to crack. I thought it was rather odd that the driver mount was swapped for poly, but not the passenger mount. It's an issue I'll rectify ASAP.

For what it's worth, the previous owner either was a huge Steeda fan, or didn't know where else to buy aftermarket parts. Along with the throttle body, UDP set (http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/for...e-pulleys.html), driver mount, and dogbone inserts, the car came with emblem overlays (old and fading, since removed), seat belt wraps, LiveWires and a Screamin' Demon coil pack (looking to swap into a MSD pack and MSD or Taylor wires), rotors that look exactly like the EBCs listed on their site (not confirmed), and a Steeda shift knob (red with an engraved logo, which doesn't seem to be available anymore).

I was under the impression that the SVT version of the Focus Central TB didn't have the logo on the plate, only the Zetec version did. I used to have one of those TBs and I couldn't figure out if it was Steeda or FC, they're probably the same thing anyway.

I thought I read on ff.com about a steeda svt for sale. Wondering if you have the same type of car. Whole bunch of steeda stuff already installed. That hood looks like a steeda hood.

The closest I've seen to my hood scoop is from a Saleen Focus. Someone else mentioned Roush as a manufacturer as well.

It looks like Saleen and Roush stole the scoops from the 01-04 Mustang GTs that they converted. I haven't one of those scoops in person on a Focus to verify though.
