Yes you are right forgot that piece, 2.0L automatic. Couldn't justify the turbo, wasn't really a priority for me.

Great, so you really didn't research or you would have found how big a piece of crap the auto trans is.
May as well have just thrown neon on the thing instead of dart, which was actually ballsy and built good back in the day.
What Chrysler won't do to try and sell cars...
Oh, and enjoy the hard as hell seats and road noise. Yeah I test drove the sorry excuse for a car...

I owned a 2011 Chevy Cruze (first year). NEVER buy a car first year out. I was lucky and only had to go back to the dealership four times for recalls/problems etc. My 2013 Focus has never been back.

BTW I could write a paper about the many ways the Focus is superior to the Cruze.

Have fun with losing the $5800. Haha. And your Dart will probably not be as quick as your SEL could be.

I looked back at 4 pages of your posts to this forum. It seems your main complaint was MFT, but you stated that 3.5.2 is how it should have always been, does that mean your MFT worked OK after the update? Huh... if so, no reason to dump the car because of that. Your other complaint was the cheap parts used in the car. Keep in mind both these cars are considered entry level compact cars, does the Dart have as many soft touch surfaces and nice interior refinements as the Focus? From what I've seen, the Focus interior is the best in the class. I believe you also complained about the service you received, did you try a different dealership? I was reading a couple of Dart forums earlier today and it seems there are a few complaints about the dash electronics and trips to the dealership for repairs, I hope this time you have a dealership you like. You traded a 2.0L car with a DCT for another 2.0L car with a DCT, why? Yes, there are problems with some Focus DCT's and from your lack of posts on the subject, your DCT must have worked fine. There are plenty of documented complaints with the Dodge/Fiat DCT. It seems to me, what you really wanted is a new car and coming here to announce it and discounting Ford is how you justify to yourself trading a perfectly good car for a new one.

So you bought a Dart AFTER doing research on its issues? All I can do is wish you good luck, which you'll probably need.
