I just bought my First Catback System

For those of you that have installed one on your focus with the svt header conv., do you have any tips you can give me for the install. I am planning on putting it on next week sometime if i can free up enough time.

It's pretty simple as long as the bolts on the flange aren't frozen. You will have to cut the stock exhaust to get it off where it goes over the rear suspension.

Have a sawzall or a cutting wheel ready. Some PBblaster too. I did mine with a hacksaw and it took way too long. Even a dremel would be better than a hacksaw. Don't tighten everything up until you're sure everything is straight and clear.

I think you need to do something with the Flex to catback area... thing you need to open the holes on the cat back.... I am not sure. When I bought my ZX3 it already had the SVT cat conversion on it.

I have just heard that certain things need to be done between a stock flex and the non SVT cat back. What those are I am not 100% sure since I have never done it on my car. But there are hand fulls of how to's and other peoples build threads that should cover it.
