Focus Purchase for Easter

Looking to buy a focus tomorrow to take advantage of the $2500 incentive.

Thoughts on how to approach the negotiation would be helpful.

I just need the Focus SE Base Sedan. Looking at one in ruby red and it has the winter package.

Invoice from what I see online is ~$16,700 for a base sedan
+ $353 for ruby red
+ $442 winter package
- $2500 Rebate
+ TTL = ~$350 ish
Total = $15,345

I was thinking $15,000 OTD.

Reasonable? not realistic?

I'd think so.

Our sticker was $24,270 and our out the door price for an ordered SE Hatch/201a, Moonroof, Winter/Exterior Pkg before taxes was $19,300

That's just over 20% off after all rebates and dealer discounts.

Automatic or manual?

Either way your invoice price is off.

Invoice base SE is $16,972.
$353 ruby red
$442 winter package
d & d $795
advertising ~ $289
fuel charge ~ $43
Total invoice: ~ $18,893
$2,500 rebate
$16,393

Also is there no tax in your state to compute only $350 for sales tax?

Automatic.

Correct, Oregon doesn't have sales tax.

add another $1,000 and that should be the invoice to the figure I quoted.

I was offered a 2013 SE automatic, Sedan in the Candy Blue for $16,400 +TTL
Which was a pretty good deal for a new car but I just couldnt pull the trigger for that much money.

I decided on spending less money and bought a 2012 SEL hatchback, automatic. It is Grey with moonroof with all the Sync stuff in it. It has 20k miles on it.

I paid $14k for it from a private party.

Congratulations on getting your Focus, ditka! I recommend spending some time checking out all the awesome freebies at http://owner.ford.com. You can download important vehicle documents like your Owner's Manual, schedule future maintenance appointments, and get coupons for service and products.
