For places with 75 MPH speed limits, I can see the gearing starting to be a problem. I think Suss did the calculations and the DCT is only ~400 RPM lower than the 5 speed, but I'm too lazy to find that thread right now!
LOL thats ok I'm too lazy to find the thread I read.So sounds like whoever that was was a speed demon then. lol thats good to know because my next one will be a stick me thinks.

Another 5spd here. Didn't want anything else this time around. I have been looking for a manual for years.

Hey I had a Saturn before too. Also went for manuals due to 1) reliability 2) fun, and 3) they are cheaper!

Definitely heard about the issues that the Focus autos were having. Still trying to get used to 1st and 2nd after my Saturn's clutch, but loving it. I agree with whoever said that you have to shift "unnaturaly" soon to get the best MPG and follow the upshift light. It just sounds so good revving it a bit more.

Wish it had a 6th gear.

My old Saturn is is coming up on 16 yrs old.A fellow at work bought it off me for a 2nd car. He's had to do some minor repairs but its still running great. So theres an upshift light in the manuals..well I'll be getting nagged alot if I get one

I ordered my 5spd Titanium after arguing with the sales mgr that the manual was available on the Titanium. He didn't think so. Waited almost 3 months for it and glad I did.

Not sure how many manual titanium's are out there, and with cloth seats but guessing not many.
