Some would argue the benefits, but if its good enough for F1 teams its good enough for me.
I want to do this, but... It's a crapshoot. As more than one motoring show has displayed (most recently on Fifth Gear), F1 teams use lab-grade Nitrogen without any water vapor impurities (water vapor expands more than the nitrogen in heat gained from using the tire, and increased the tire pressures beyond spec. Nitrogen is supposed to alleviate this, but only if there isn't any accidental water vapor mixed in). I can almost guarantee you that filling up at Town Fair or one of those other local places won't net you the performance benefits of N2 filled tires.

Would I still do it? Yes, because even if you don't get the performance benefit, Nitrogen will still leak much slower than regular air.

This is the only benefit i see for the average motorist. We are not on the same level as F1 so its not going to make any noticeable difference for our daily commute if our psi varies by a pound or twoi. I would fill mine if it was free but i cant see paying more than a buck or two for it.

Bumping this thread:

Ebay glow gauges for $29 shipped, used a red smd panel for the lcd/odometer display. The odometer display has since been filtered with 2 layers of red copy paper, it's not nearly as bright now:

I'll drop these in here.

Mud flaps made using on large truck flap from Napa. Can't remember the price for sure anymore but I think it was two large flaps for $30. I only used the one though.
