Wtf ? Simple question. What Ive read the Svt has open differential. If the passenger axle (cv joint) is out of the seated postion. (I think the carrier bearing may have broke loose). Would the engine just Rev with the speedometer rising.? Or transmission failure? Didn't have time to jack it up.
Btw my last post. One of the rudest forum ive been on.

If the axle is not seated all the way in then yes the speedo will just climb and you won't move anywhere.

As for the rude comment he probably feels that way cause you didn't describe your problem very well?

Now for the being one of the rudest forums you've ever been on, I can think of much worse ones.

Sorry . Typing from smart phone is a bitch. I did think the cables were reversed. Had bear getting them back in. I checked the black cable was on top and white on lower. I unhooked them and verified the throws. My son was in the seat running the initial checks. I didn't see the speedo rising with the shifts with no tire movement. Very frustrated after two days of wrestling with the getrag.
