Accidents aside, I don't think there is anything that you can do to a car's exterior that is worse than that!

Car is going in for leak testing and a fix this Wednesday. Its actually leaking worse than I thought. I drove through heavy rain for about an hour one way and an hour back and noticed it not only leaking at the hatch where the plastic trims come together (and leaking onto the hatch divider), but also running down the trim on the right side of the rear and down in the trunk. I have a sheet in there and noticed a big damp spot and traced it upwards. Even got wet near the lights that shine in the trunk.

So ya, worse than I expected. I looked under the spare and there is no dampness there so that's good.

Oh and did my third oil change and noticed more sticky oily gunk seeping out of the transmission seal. I had wiped it clean the last oil change and now it is dirtier than when I wiped it clean earlier. So I will have the dealer also look at that. Wish I could remember the TSB for the transmission seal issues.
