Shit, I just sent you a PM about shift cable nonsense before reading the whole thread and ended the PM with something like "I hope everything goes as smoothly as one might hope", although I don't suppose I can call it a jinx since this all went down before I wrote the PM.

It sounds like you concluded you had adequate oil and coolant present, so do you have some other idea about what killed the turbo? I don't have any firsthand knowledge about FI stuff so forgive me if I overlooked something in your writing.

The guess is that the bearings got rust on them from sitting, the turbo was out of the car for a year. And when I did finally start the car that rust started to wear the race and then the problem just compounded itself. I had set the turbo off to be looked over any have any work done that it need. I was told the turbo was in good condition and should bit be an issue.

I dropped the oil pan and cut the filter open I did pass some fine bronze bussing fillings though the oil pumps. I have debated taking the motor out and replacing the oil pump but at this time I’m going to flush the motor out and see what I get.

Hopefully I’ll finish installing the new Precision 5130 turbo this weekend and get the car back up and running, I’ll be having it retuned next Friday

Car is up and running I took it the track this weekend, everything worked pretty week for the first true shake down run. It survived 40min of hard running I need to make some tweaks to the inter cooler piping, fans and probably will need to remove the lower subframe brace. I got some video I’ll post soon as I can edit it.
