im looking to do the samething with the head swap. i think im just gonna wait till on pops up on the forum. look at some of my threads and read the 2.3 head swap one. tom has some good info, that he shares, and so does felix.
Buy your tuner first. im still waiting on tom to get back to me. but i just put on the header and intake and 2.25inch magnaflow, and without that tuner its just a waste of money, unless your looking for sound lol. i didnt feel anything different about my car except maybe some better response.
good luck with your mods :)

Has anyone ever done the head swap? This motor has been around for some time now and you would think somebody would have.

the only performance based focus you can take parts from would be the 2.3l duratec from 03-07; intake manifold, head, exhaust manifold or entire motor and then new tuning.

if you can find one with decent miles/price, it'll be the best base to start with for any future modding. Compare same mods on the 2.0 vs 2.3 on the dyno page.
