I already had that lol......

Im removing it to go with a headunit because althought the lc6i allows the optimal use of a stock HU, it is still not on par with a good aftermarket deck

right after I posted that, I realized the lc6i only has high level inputs. try the matrix plus, it has pre-amp inputs and can be used with an aftermarket deck.

Did sealing the box off from your trunk reduce a lot of trunk rattle and what not? Also, where did you get that box made? I plan on running one 12 one day and if sealing it off from the trunk helped, than I'd like to go that route.

Yeah sealing it off from the trunk completely stopped my trunk rattles! before My spoiler looked like it was flapping to fly. I did all of the paneling and built it myself. If you go to a shop your looking at about $220 for the box the another $200 at least for them to panel off your trunk. If you have the means then I would highly suggest doing it yourself. I live in an apartment and couldn't do it here so I went to my parents where they have a nice metal barn I could do it all in.

make sure to readjust the gain on the amp, a new head unit means better signal and more or less pre out voltage. might be able to turn the gain up higher with out distortion/clipping or maybe need to go a little lower.

Might Need to buy a Oscope before trying to set your gains by ear, Sealing off from the trunk is not as loud as leaving it unsealed, if you do all the work yourself you would of been able to have $150ish in the entire build Should invest in a Clarion EQ746 it does 5 volts clean signal
