If Ford offered me a manual conversion for free, I would take it in a New York Minute...I am holding out some hope that it improves but I am very pessimistic at this point.
rattling most heard at low speed and turning, and delay from shift from 2-3 when i put into sport mode and manually shift. Also for some reason when i step on the gas there is a delay so its hard for me to just switch lane real fast and accelerate.

Identical to mine, I was told it's "normal" and if I bring it in again in 500 miles, I will be told the same thing. Did you get the 2 page handout?

Not as far as I know - I've looked. Actually, I think I saw one in the works for California owners only a few weeks ago, though...

I'll jump on the opportunity if I see it. Maybe I should just contact a lawyer for a class action lawsuit. How hard could it be? I think I want to punish Ford more than I want to get my own car fixed - is that normal?

EDIT: Isn't this thread about a dent in a door?

They tell you 10,000 miles because then you are on average 1 year less on your 5/60 after which they will make it your problem to get corrected and will surely tell you on your service list of things to make a hefty profit from need fixed.

I would say based on the amount of negative experiences with the Powershift, a class action lawsuit will be right around the corner. Not sure the $1 I would get after the lawyers get paid would do me much good, I would just be happy if they corrected the issues.

Yes, but the dent would never be there if his DCT was working correctly.

Hi k1ngkev1n1,

I wanted to touch base with you and see how the door repair is progressing. I can arrange for a follow-up call from your CSM if you'd like; just send me your current mileage and I'll get the ball rolling. If you decide to go to a different dealership, let me know which dealership you'd like to go to now. If you'd prefer, you can call our Customer Relationship Center directly at 1-800-392-3673.

Crystal
